1. Introduction

As per the documentation described in “Setting Up Label Studio with Amazon S3 for Video Annotation”, the dataset annotation is achieved using Label Studio.

In this documentation, the labelling interface is reviewed, the annotation guidelines and best practices are described. In particular how the bounding boxes are drawn for push off events, contact and landing. Each event is gradual therefore some rules were set to identify when the event starts and ends.

Subsequently how the annotation is saved to target is explained.

Finally, some interesting observations were made while completing annotations for different athletes.
